For the 2025 edition, Gobid Group will once again be among the sponsors of the conference promoted by OCI, which will take place on February 21-22 at the Circolo Canottieri venue in Bari. Conference theme: “Amendments to the Crisis Code: New Developments in Judicial and Controlled Liquidation.” Organizing Committee: The Chamber of Insolvency Procedures of Bari, composed of Vittorio Tarsia, Domenico Buffa, and Giuseppe Piacente.
Scientific Coordination: Massimo Ferro, Rosanna Angarano, Raffaella Brogi.
This two-day event will be entirely dedicated to one of the most pressing topics in contemporary legal debate: the latest innovations introduced by the Crisis Code regarding judicial and controlled liquidation. As stated by the organizers: “In the first eight months of 2024, there was a 16% increase in judicial liquidations compared to the same period in 2023, with 5,718 new procedures initiated. Liquidation proceedings continue to be the most common solution for managing insolvency, significantly surpassing negotiated settlements, despite a rise of 923 applications compared to 2023. This gap underscores the central role of judicial and controlled liquidations, which make up the majority of cases handled by the courts.”
The conference will be entirely focused on this topic, analyzing the latest amendments introduced by Legislative Decree 136/2024, which concludes the first phase of the insolvency law reform that began in 2017.
